What Taylor guitars will it work with?

ES1.1: 2003-2006, AA Battery Box

Yes, with our AA Adapter kit.
Because of the age of the guitar and variations in Taylor's manufacturing, the Saddle-Pickup may need adjustment for a correct setup. You can purchase our Saddle Customization option, and we will pre-shape the Saddle-Pickup according to the dimensions on your current saddle.

ES1.2: 2007-2009, 9V Battery Box, Fused String Ground 

Yes, our system will fit.

As long as the original saddle hasn't been altered for action adjustments, installing our Saddle-Pickup will maintain the guitar's current action.

Does the guitar need an action setup after installing the pickup system?

See the above F.A.Q. for notes on your specific guitar.
In general, if the original saddle has not been altered to adjust the action, then installing our system will maintain the guitar's current action. 


What if I want to adjust the action?

We recommend following the official Taylor action adjustment procedure. This can be done at an authorized Taylor service center and is free for the original owner of the guitar. 
This procedure involves adjusting the neck angle with shims and does not touch the saddle. 

Are the controls different?

Yes, the external controls now function differently. See the image below for their new function.
